BURST & LEAKING PIPE REPAIRS

Not tackled in time, you could be facing a nasty plumbing problem. At first, a small leak might seem like there is little pressure on your water pipes. … The constant dripping and leaking will erode pipes or chip away at the hole, which will eventually cause the pipe to burst as there will be pressure on the weak spot.

BURST & LEAKING PIPE REPAIRS

We'll repair leaking or burst pipes, toilets and taps, fix broken radiators and most domestic plumbing problems. If you need an emergency plumber - then we're here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

WE’RE AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE!

What To Do If You Have A Burst Pipe or Leak

Completely switch off your water supply. If you think the leak from the pipe burst may have reached any of the electrical sockets or the fuse box, take precautions and turn off the electricity, too.

If you own a house, you can usually find your main water shut-off valve somewhere in your home.

Check your basement, cupboards, crawl spaces, and areas close to the water heater. If it’s not inside, you can usually find it under a metal lid on your property close to the street.

Once the water supply has been turned off, open your faucets to drain the remaining cold water from the system. (This means flushing your toilets multiples times, too.) This will also reduce the chance of leftover water remaining inside the pipes, it also relieves some of the pent-up pressure in the pipe!

Now shut off the water supply to your geyser and well as the power supply and release all the water from your hot taps.

If you’re lucky enough to know where your leak is coming from, start mopping up excess water to prevent mold and mildew.
